The Business theme is one that features standard components throughout the site usually with an arrangement of pictures and text and some level of animation or dynamic actions,
but not to any degree that would be considered excessive.
For instance, the navigation buttons are very generic and uniform in appearance and they are ordinarily strung in a series either horizontally at the top of the page or vertically at the left margin. The content of each page is usually common to one area of the display; typically the space to the right of vertical navigation buttons or the space below horizontal buttons.
The default theme of the MARZZZ site is in the Business view. The buttons are aligned vertically at the left margin and you will notice that most of the pages are very similar in appearance and, where possible, the web site information has been organized to fit onto the smallest possible pages to eliminate the need for excessive scrolling. This also increases the impact of each page by concentrating the visitor's focus on a specific topic. It is usually necessary, however, to make use of a large home, or front, page so that you can provide the visitor with as much information about your site as possible.
A good first impression will be invaluable to the success of your site, so be sure to include some form of information or link to most of the other pages of your site. It would be a shame if someone navigated away from your site before discovering that you could provide exactly the service or product that they needed. The Traditional theme is one that features a standard scrolling page with an arrangement of pictures and text. The navigation buttons are generally strewn horizontally across the top of the
page and the content follows below. This type of site is very popular due to the fact that additional content is easily added at the bottom of any page; the website can grow as the need to post more information grows and it can all be developed
with limited effort.
Often times this type of site will be anchored to the left margin of the screen (i.e. you may notice some empty space at the right of the screen), this is because the developer is creating the site so that it displays in various screen resolutions. In other cases, the developer will create the page centered on the screen and the content will "float" in the center as you adjust the size of the browser window and yet, some other sites are created with so much horizontal data that the visitor must scroll horizontally to the right to see the whole page. There is no real right or wrong way to design for varying screen resolutions, but we would suggest that you take your target audience into very serious consideration before deciding on which is right for you.
For example, if you are in the business of selling medical or health care supplies to the elderly you may want to consider supporting a non-scrollable page in the 800x600 resolution because many of your visitors may be experiencing a decline in their eyesight; therefore a majority of your audience may indeed be using the 800x600 resolution...and it can be very frustrating for someone trying to navigate a website that has not been designed with their special needs in mind.
